First thing to know is that you can legally refuse to let anyone in your home if they do not have a warrant or court order to enter the premises.
You may have a social worker and even a police officer come to your home and aggressively try to sell you it’s their rights to enter your home on behalf of your children. But the truth is they cannot do so without a warrant or a court order. The only exception to this rule is something called exigent circumstances. This means that one or both of them has to have seen something in plain sight that alarmed them and forced them to come in to your home in order to protect the child.
